  • Improved frontal lobe function – This is responsible for executive functions such as decision making, problem solving, and self-control
  • Decreased vulnerability to anxiety and depression – The prefrontal cortex is located in the front of the brain and is responsible for controlling emotions.
  • Reduced risk of stroke – Coffee drinking may protect against stroke by improving blood flow to the brain.
  • Reduces the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease – Coffee drinking may help protect against Alzheimer’s disease by reducing the amount of plaque in the brain

How Coffee Can Affect the Body

The body uses coffee both externally and internally to function properly. When coffee is consumed within reason (around 100mg per day), it can help with the following:

  • Improve circulation and reduce inflammation throughout the body

  • Reduce inflammation
